Big 12 Showdown this Week

The Big 12 will have two less unbeaten teams as Texas and Oklahoma square off this week in the Red River Rivalry. Missouri also has Oklahoma State bringing its unbeaten record to town. Texas and Oklahoma is clearly the game of the week with both teams in everyone's top 5. This game looks to be a shootout with two of the top quarterbacks in the nation facing off. Both teams have been great in the first quarter outscoring opponents 155-12 combined. It might even come down to the coin toss as to who can get the ball first, or maybe who has the ball last.

The other Big 12 matchup Missouri vs. Oklahoma State is going to be a question of can this Missouri offense be stopped? The Tigers have claimed that no one can stop their offense and I don't see Oklahoma State having a chance. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of defense in the Big 12, we will see who can slow down who. Oklahoma State is allowing 23 points a game and Missouri is scoring 53.4 points per game. On the other hand the Cowboys are averaging 52 points a game themselves. This looks to be a shootout and Missouri has more ammo.

Texas Tech the fifth un beaten team in the conference gets Nebraska this weekend. The huskers are coming off of their 52-17 loss to Missouri and the Red Raiders have just as potent of an offense. Nebraska has shown improvment over last year but they still have a way to go. With the Red Raiders averging 48 points per game it could be another long day for Nebraska's D.
